Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn't hurt the untroubled spirit, either. ~Elizabeth Zimmerman

“I love daisies… They’re so friendly. Don’t you think daisies are the friendliest flower?”
Meg Ryan, You’ve Got Mail
This is the first in the Flowerpot Series of Garden inspired patterns. For Summer it has to be Daisies..but Please Don’t Eat the Daisies! :)
Perfect for filling your basket in your garden or strolling through the park on a summer’s eve to meet that someone special who will hopefully be waiting with an armful of…Daisies!
An open lacy daisy and lattice pattern using a soft linen/cotton blend in crisp white. I added a cute Daisy trim but this would also be adorable striped up in summer yellow and white or add a knit daisy to your border. The stitches are almost reversible but I chose the purl side as it shows the daisy pattern best I think.
Never knew Doris knits! These from a favorite film That Touch of Mink
Pattern and kit available from In the Loop
A portion of the proceeds of the pattern will be donated to Doris Day’s Animal Foundation
